Commemorative Ad Journal Information

• A commemorative journal incorporating then and now photos of Springfield will be published. to memoralize the event.  Only 1500 copies will be printed.  The Journal will sell for $15 a copy.  In 1994, only 1000 copies of the 144 page book were printed and all copies were sold almost immediately!!!!

We need your help!  This celebration is a mammoth undertaking and we hope that you will want to be a part of the event and contribute generously to the 225^th Anniversary Committee.  Since this event combines our traditional 4^th of July celebration with the re-enactment, we are seeking a donation in the form of a full page advertisement in our journal.  The attached sheet lists the costs for placement of your ad in our journal.

All funds raised will go directly to off-set the costs of the event and any additional funds raised will be used in support projects of a of local historical nature, including the restoration of John Ward Dunsmore’s painting depicting the Battle of Springfield (Give ‘em Watts, Boys).
